𝐁𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐲𝐚 𝐊𝐚𝐥𝐚 𝐊𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐚 and 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐫, 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐧, 𝐍𝐘 gladly present the 𝐎𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭 featuring dancer 𝐀𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐮𝐩 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐩𝐭𝐚 from Kolkata, India. The concert is taking place on 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟏𝟕𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐭 𝟕:𝟎𝟎 𝐩𝐦 to promote classical art forms! 𝐀𝐝𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐄 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐝. Bharatiya Kala Kendra is a non-profit charitable non-government organization formed by Ajayveer Chapotkat, who has also formed the Arts From India, NY.

𝐀𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐀𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐮𝐩 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐩𝐭𝐚:

𝐀𝐯𝐢𝐫𝐮𝐩 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐮𝐩𝐭𝐚 is an international performer and choreographer of various dance forms, mainly Odissi and Neoclassical forms. He started learning dance at the age of 10 and has trained under Smt. Alokananda Roy and Sri Rajib Bhattacharya, are both acclaimed performers. He also actively attends various workshops conducted by Mrs. Sujata Mahapatra.
Sengupta has received several awards from several prestigious organizations at a young age, like the Press Association of Bengal and the All Bengali Association in Delhi in the years 2013, 2018, 2019, and 2021; and the Youth Icon of 2022 award from the Bangladeshi film industry. Sengupta also received the pride of the Nation from Bollywood Star Baghyasree. Sengupta has conducted workshops in Singapore, Bangladesh, and several cities in India. In India, he has performed along with his troop in Vrindaban for the inauguration of the largest Krishna Temple where he was invited by Guru Devkinanda Maharaj. He has also performed in Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan, Mumbai, and Dinanath Mangeshkar Auditorium in Mumbai, Bhubaneshwar, Odessa, Manna De Utsav in 2016 in memory of legendary actor Manna De; in Vodafone Agomi which was telecasted on Zee Bangla and Hoichoi (2018, 2019) along with Tollywood superstar Rituparna Sengupta and actor Indrani Dutta. He has also performed with his troop along with Rituparna Sengupta at Red Road Pujo Carnival, which was organized by the West Bengal Government.
Apart from his passion and love for dance he also has a keen interest in social development. He has been a jury member of the International Justice Mission (IIJM). He is running a foundation for special children named Prayas, where these children are given training in dance, music, and arts and crafts. He is also the Trustee of Schools of the World Kolkata. Sengupta wishes to make these young souls self-reliant and bloom into beautiful flowers for the future.
Recently Avirup composed and choreographed a video along with Sex Workers, Acid Victims, and Transgenders along with superstar Rituparna Sengupta named AMRA Durga.
